Archives

The Mobile Medical Museum Archives contains manuscripts and books from the early 1800's to the 1980's.  The bulk of  our collection covers Mobile and Alabama medical history, 1840-1950.  Document formats include letters, diaries, notebooks, minute books, government records, organization records, photographs, prescriptions, medical textbooks, and scrapbooks.  As we go through the material, we will include descriptions and lists of our holdings.  We will continue to organize newly received materials and add them to the list.  If you have any questions regarding the Mobile Medical Museum Archives, please contact Glendon S. Farquhar at Med_Museum@yahoo.com
