Archives : Dr. James Daniel McLaughlin Collection Dr. James McLaughlin graduated from the University of Alabama Medical College in 1910. He practiced medicine in Barbour, Dale, and Henry counties for 43 years. The McLaughlin collection contains small notebooks with notes, financial information, and some diary entries. Miscellaneous materials are limited, but contain some financial records related to McLaughlin’s practice and family.
